As always I was interested in renting a car even though you have to drive on the left side of the road in Cyprus. I was lil bit afraid of it but at the end it was quite fun and I got used to it pretty fast. Car rental was 235 EUROs for period of 8 days from 23-MAY-2022 to 31-MAY-2022 (expensive in my opinion but for two people and for freedom it gives you still a good deal :)) 

I have arrived to Paphos on 19-May-2021 and enjoyed couple of days on the beach and then rented a car from 23-May-2021. We went to see the old town and Archelogical park the first day. We continued to the Tombs of the Kings and after that to Adonis Baths the next day. We parked on the main road and walked to the baths approx. 3 kms one way but road is suitable even for normal cars (coordinates of the place where we stopped and parked 34.864819, 32.410254). Entrance to the Baths was 10 EUROs per person so if you are short in time maybe it is not worth it but if you stay at least 2-3 hours it is great amount of time to enjoy the scenery. The one place I was really excited about was the Avakas Gorge trail. Again we parked near the beach and walked to the gorge. It was amazing and you walk as far as you want or as far as you can get. Our next destination was Baths of Aphrodite and the Blue Lagoon. We walked the trail leading to the Blue Lagoon and the views were stunning! It was little bit chalenging to find a path leading down the cliff to the beach but we managed and we could enjoy some time in crystal clear water! From there we headed to Dragon cave (personally would skip this one, but it is on the way anyway) and to church in Pachyammos. From there we decided to see mufflons in cedar valley (Stavros tis Psokas) and do short hike to Tripylos peak (3kms one way). The same day we managed to see Kykkos Monastery and we passed by beautiful church in Gerakies. I also wanted to visit church in Kalopanagiotis village but it was already closing time. We stayed overnight in Kato Platres village and the next day in the morning we returned to do a hike in Troodos mountains. We chose Artemis trail. And we also went to the peak of Olympus and to see some 800 old years black pine trees. We also hiked to Kaledonian waterfall and Millomeri waterfall (you can bring swimsuit and take a dip in the water). After couple of days hiking we arrived to Limassol Medieval castle and also visited Castle of Kolossi and Kourion archeological site. On our way back to Paphos we stopped at Aphrodite’s Rock viewpoint.
