As we arrived later in the evening and we had issue with car renter (he forgot about us :)) we booked accomodation near the airport and headed there directly. Next day in the morning we went to Ai Helis beach and after that to Xi beach which is famous for red sand. The same day we managed to do a short walk to Platia Ammos Beach viewpoint. For the sunset we moved to Assos – little charming village and did a small walk to the top of the hill with Venetian castle ruins. From there we moved more to the north of the island and decided to stay overnight on Emblisi beach. It was amazing even though it was pebble beach but we managed to see shooting stars during the night so it was definetly worth it. We did a small hike around the peninsula next day in the morning and after that we went to Antisamos beach and then to Karavamilos where we had amazing cheap accomodation. Melissani cave lake in Karavamilos is also worth a visit. We continued our way direction to Mount Ainos but on the way we stopped at Drogarati cave. Our departure was at night so we still had enough time to climb Mount Ainos the last day. Views were amazing and it was perfect ending to our short trip.
